    That said, I HATE racist people!!

    Funny thing....I am part of a family(for the last 20 years or so, kind of an adopted family, but we do family things and function as one) that my Dad is black....mom is white, I am white and my little sister is malato(sp?)...I have seen it ALL, and been through so much crap is makes me sick to think that in this day and age we STILL have to deal with and EVEN DISCUSS this type of thing. I dont get upset about most things, but racism, when experienced first hand, SUCKS ASS!!!

    yeah when you have some idiots spouting off, well....it's hard for me to bite my tongue. i figure i'm safer here, as are you too jose!

    pjtradeking it's amazing in this day and age, that there can *still* be such backwards ass people! being latina i've had my share of experiences (latest being pulled over for what i look like)...still makes it enfuriating when it happens though.

    my favorite is when is when i've been around people spouting off racists comments about hispanics...not knowing that my pastey self is in fact part hispanic. the look on their faces when i make that known is priceless!! it's amazing what people will say sometimes :confused:

    OMG--that sounds like me!! I have my mom's pale Irish/German skin but I am half Mexican! and I have told people I am Mexican after they do a "Mexican joke" :)
