    That is sad...

    My sister-in-law went to a high school in central MA... When she was 17 she got preganant. She wasn't the first in her circle of friends, but by now (a year and a half later), ALL of them have either had babies or are pregnant. None are married, most aren't even in relationships, and none of them have jobs...

    Her and all her friends are pretty much all lazy pothead dropouts, and are now supposedly responsible for a child, but most of them are pawned off of their parents so as to not interfere with their party life.

    It is sad really... I love my niece to pieces, and she is doing ok with the help of my in-laws, but I just can't comprehend why high school girls are doing this.

    I'm a guy, but when I was her age, we did everything we could not got get someone pregnant, and the girls who got pregnant in school were pretty much outcast... now it seems like it's the cool thing to do.

    This is not the first time- there's plenty of white trash high schools in NE, and probably elsewhere but I'm only familiar with NE, where the girls decide to wreck their lives together.
    Like I said mostly it happens in totally white trash towns where the girls are destined to get fat & go on welfare together anyway.

    Isn't it nice to know that you work to support people like that?
