It sounds about right, and that's probably just what it costs at the grocery store. Any meals out are on top of that too.
Do you think you eat 7 bucks worth of food/drink each day?

your right i send my son with $5 a day for his lunch and $4 for my daughter braking out the brown bag's on monday ...;)
We spend close to $100 a week at the fish market alone.
Quality produce is also outrageously priced.

I am a family of 2 and my food runs about $400/mo. I had to cut down on the fish - got too expensive. I miss it :(

$800 (about £400) a month sounds reasonable for a family of four. We spend more than that for 3 of us.
I was just thinking this today. I used to like to think we spent $600 a month on food, but no way, it's more like $800. When you think about it, that's more than food, it's cleaning supplies too, TP, etc. For a family of four, that's $6.50 a day. I can honestly say, we consume at least that a day.
Ouch and Ouch....Doesn't leave much room for eating out, that's for sure.
to late for that he has all of the above mentioned will see after tomorrow when the family comes over to celebrate he will get $$$ from hi's uncles & aunts ...
we have turned in to a couple of old fucks though.....she cuts out coupons and i cant wait for the sales ads to show up in the mail....hehehehe
