Freezing out, yet their are still jackyl's out there that mosey along like it's a nice spring day. I'm talking young people, not those that have issues walking. Kick it in the ass or I will kick you! ;) As to the meningitis, that's some scary shit. I didn't hear about all those cases. Never thought I would say it, but sometimes I miss News 12!!!

where is it said that the cold kills airbourne germs? i find the healthiest climates to be warm weathered.

and "healthy"? tell that to asthmatics who cannot breathe in the freezing cold!

i HATE the cold.....counting the days down to summer....

actually the healthiest climates are cold. the only reason people get sick in the winter is because everyone is shut up inside together with recycled heat and closed windows and whatnot. cold climates definitely have lower incidence of infection.

and I'm an asthmatic, and yeah I coughed a little on the walk in this morning, but I still love it.

I dont know, in NY I never see emergency rooms full of sick people in the summer. I'll stick with my 75 degrees and up!

well, I explained that, it's because infections spread when everyone is shut up inside with recycled air.

But I got pneumonia during a heat wave in august...sickest I've ever been in my life.

I'm not sure about germs, but viruses love this weather. I think mostly because of the dry air. They can stay air born longer.
