yeah, that pretty much sums it up in a nutshell for ya. although, i wouldn't expect anything less from boston fans as well. yankee fans are just as classless sometimes as some of the drunken red sox fans.

Saw the Sox in 2005 at Yankee Stadium and some guy yelled "Go back to Fenway you faggot!!" :) Classy.

hey the dude was right on

I get up and take a bow though when people got on my case in the stands. Ya have to take it in stride. Just like Yankee fans who definitely seem like they get a pleasure of being the hated one in the stands at Fenway.

what this really boils down to is how stupid and ignorant are guys that start fights b/c they like different teams? it is SO RETARDED!!!!!!

maybe girls should start brawling because some like Desparate Housewives and others like Grey's Anatomy. so ridiculous........

This crap happens everywhere. I once saw a bunch of Ranger fans beat the crap out of an Isle fan at nassua. I mean really GET A LIFE!

And a girl with a black eye in a deli in NYC saying she had a Red Sox hat on at the Yankee game and a guy punched her.

MEN+SPORTS = stupid acts of violence

    not all men.....

You don't need Desperate Housewives or Grey's Anatomy, just a massive wedding dress clearance sale ;)

Wait, what did you just say about my team????

    HA HA - perfect!!!!!!!!!!!
  • As has already been hashed out, there are plenty of douches on bith sides of the aisle.

As frequent posters here show we have irrational hatred for other cities and teams. Boston v NY is just one of the major ones. NYPJ 1 claims to hate Boston but cant resist posting in every single thread even mentioning the city. So clearly us guys have issues.

Dude, that wasn't an article. That was a letter to the editor.

It wasn't even an opinion piece like this one after the homophobic chants by Yankee fans that has been going on for years:

    http://www.usatoday.com/news/opinion/editorials/2003-10-19-jennings_x.htm

If that two paragraph letter to the editor really was the breaking point for you, I guess you didn't have far to go.

Yep, especially since the Sox signed the Mayor this year. How can anyone not like the Mayor? I'm sure he'll be having some fun conversations over at first this year.
