I know I'm not supposed to know how they taste but I have to say they're very tasty. So's the wine.

as i used to teach in a religious school :eek:...i used to go...once a year? maybe 2x. now that i am gone tho.....last time was the school's graduation in 2005. yikes.



however, it IS a really nice sentiment jose. i always enjoyed that part of the service.

when the pope died... I went to mass for a while and that was one of my favourite bits... cos people look you in the eye, take your hand firmly.... and really mean it. I never noticed that as a kid.

they really do. you won't find that in many places now-a-days

exactly! but the same people will probably pass you in the street later in the day :( . If I'm on a deserted street and meet one person, I always look at them, 9 out of 10 look away or look down... but that one out of ten who looks me in the eye, smiles and says hello... makes my day

strangers need to be nicer to eachother... what are people afraid of?

I'm right there with ya. it's not really THAT hard to do is it? all you gotta do is say "hi" not much else to it.

Nope... and you can see you've made that persons day too. You can actually see compassion in their eyes just cos a stranger took a second to say hi. There are three strangers on my way to work that I usually stop and make small talk with and I just think it's fantastic that, in this city in such a short space of time, there are three people who actually bother

Back in my catholic church-going days(yep,yep) there used to be a handshake followed by saying 'Peace be with you' to those congregated around you. Known as the Rite of Peace, I think, occurs just prior to recieving Communion. I never attended by choice so, as with the whole affair frankly, it made little impression. Doubt people really meant it anyway, very sterile atmostphere the church had.

If it happened in the street, I'd have to question motives. Only ever had elderly say 'Hi'.

i hope everyone here has a peacefull weekend ,just look at the news and you can see where there will be no peace this wekeend so to the fortunate one's that will have one enjoy and don't be so paranoid if someone say's hello ...:)
