Did anyone catch the Opie and Anthony show yesterday? They were interviewing Triple H and played a clip of some baseball players retirment video who gets really emotional. If anyone has a link to that video please post it. It had me rolling yesterday.

you know whats funny is that is exactly what Howard Stern does. He does the same exact thing and O&A say they don't copy...
  • Well I'm sure there's only so little you can do for 4hrs each day without covering some of the same stuff as someone else. Obviously you're a Howard fan. I listen to O & A because I've got XM. If I had Sirius I'd probably listen to Howard, I think they're both funny.

    So how about that clip?

who is it of do you remember? I could probably find it

I have XM and Sirius, I just prefer Howard because he started the whole thing and he is still very good at it. I'm turned off to O&A mostly because of the effort they put into bashing Stern-when in fact they are what they are because of Stern.
  • Umm, I'm not entirely sure of who the player was. For some reason the only name that comes to mind is Mike Schmidt. I searched youtube and nothing came up. I think in the speech there was some reference to Milwaukee.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the bashing either.

I know Howard's played the clips of Mike Schmidt before. He had an emotional retirement if I remember correctly.

    Howard rules!!
    24 years old, mid-life crisis
nowadays hits you when you're young
  • Yes it was a very emotional speech and was hilarious. No clips anyone?

Was it for sure Mike Schmidt?
