It's nice to have an extra hour this weekend..........

......But I manage a 1600 room hotel and that means we have to change 1600 clocks.

I also feel sorry for my overnight team, who have to work an extra hour and ndon't get paid for it.

    That is kind of bullshit they don't get paid for it.

    you should like buy breakfast or something for them.

    but the overnight team could have some fun and set them FORWARD an hour!

    good tip but unless they were made after Bush enacted that LAME ass idea to SAVE energy, they changed last weekend.

    conversely, in spring.....don't they gain an extra hour? so sure, it all works out. just like it does for all of us...'lose' an hour of sleep in the spring and 'gain' an hour back in the autumn. now, for workers who don't work the entire year, sure...an hour shortchanged.


    just sayin'. :)


    i love getting back that hour of sleep. autumn nights definitely warrant that hour. i don't love giving it up in the spring, but i love how instantly brighter/longer it makes even the very next day...so well worth the swap imo. :)

    ive definately gotten paid the extra hour in the fall... i dont see how you cannot pay them for it.

    Yeah kinda confused on that too.
    I don't think they actually work an extra hour so much as get off an hour later ;)

    Why don't they get paid for it? That's pretty lame. I would walk out.
