    I'm not much of a gamer. But I bought a Wii for my kids.

    My wife went out and picked up Mariokart for them (great game by the way) and told me that there is a new Star Wars game coming out and you can get lightsaber part for the Wii controller.

    She put my name on the list for the day it comes out.

    I pulled up "New Star Wars Game" on You Tube and got pretty excited

    I've been saving up fo a PS3, but not yet!
    but I was surprised to see that it is offered on PS2. thinkin about getting it.

    any good?

    Since this is a Star Wars thread, I'm assuming you meant BattleFRONT 2? Not that Battlefield 2 (PC version only!) isn't good...

    Played the demo and it's very mediocre. actually it's quite aveage but i'm sure a Star Wars fan will enjoy it. My advice is wait (if you can) for 2 -3 months. You will be able to get a 2nd copy dirt cheap.

    Agreed. It is a decent game, but it's nothing new really.

    No way you can be a STAR WARS GEEK. A Treke geek maybe but never a SWG. Everything about starwars is awesome. Meaning episodes 3, 4, 5 and 6.

    I have not played video games in years since my PS2 was stollen but what is the Star Wars game where you can be the Rebels or Imperials and you fight in the Snow scene? You can drive a AtAt? Cool as hell.

    The second game was so much fun. They got this one level where it's Jedi vs Sith and all I would do is go around force choking people.

    oh no ep3 is shit. anakins a whiny little bitch and obi wan delivers some of the weakest lines in movie history. amidala went from being a strong leader to an insipid woman who gave up the fight and just died. sure ehr husband tried to strangle her, but come on girl! fight it. and why may i ask does the mother have to be the one to die? first anakin's, then luke and leia's. WHERE ARE THE WOMAN MR LUCAS!!? the story could ALSO have been filled out more. george needs some serious help when it comes to dialogue. i wish hed give me a call. ;):) HOWEVER... the coolest scene in movie history did occur in episode 3. and all you STG know what im talking about. ;):)

    What? You get to see how Luke and Leia came about. Darth Vader is introduced (enough said). And you see where Chewbacca is from. Awesome!
