NHL alternate jerseys this year?

I hear up to 18 teams are bringing back the third jerseys. Anyone see any leaked pics?
I love my female wife...
we sit around and wonder exactly why our marriage should feel threatened by gay marriage

    The Canes are adding an alternate jersey for the first time. Haven't seen it yet. They are going to debut them against the Wings at their second home game. I'm really curious.

    Are they going to wear basketball or football jerseys...or something else that people might have a chance of recognizing?

    I'm excited to see the Blues thirds.

    (I know that was their home jersey until last year, but it started off as a third)

    We should have leaks of all of these though once someone cracks the code for them on NHL 09 out next week.

    seriously....what is it about hockey that makes some of you yanks want to troll these threads? every single one has some kind of comment....
    I've never bothered opening them, so I wouldn't know...but I bet the lame basketball and college sports threads are void of hockey fans bashing your fav games....we get a lil ornary when the sports are compared...but damn. go dribble or something.

    maybe it's the influence of the athletes themselves? Class vs thug?

    Never been a big fan of the Canes uni's....hope it's something good and they keep it.

    I like the retro jerseys too.

    Holy crap that Blues one is HORRIBLE. praise allah that never made the ice.

    I prefer the simple, traditional jerseys....the original six and my Oil have the best jerseys...

    I will ALWAYS go with any of the original six for some odd reason. IF there was a jersey OTHER than the Bruins I'd wear a BLACLHAWK jersey. Man that's one cool jersey.

    I was talking about the athletes, not the game...hockey can be very thuggish...
    seriously...compare the reputation of hockey players to the reputation of basketball or football players. It's night and day. Aside from the US oly team in Nagano, and a couple of goons (Bertuzzi, McSorely), hockey players are usually a pretty honourable bunch.
    but I digress....

    you're right, the 'hawks jersey is a work of art....was always my old man's fav. I never used to get his fascination with it, but it's really grown on me over the years.

    As for the link to the new logos, thanks. I'm not crazy about Tampa's though (I hate abbreviations on sports uniforms-like the Phoenix Suns "PHX" uniforms.)
