MP3 player / ipod question

I am unsure if this should be here, or the "technical" thread, but the technical thread doesn't seem too active, so I thought I'd get a quicker answer here.
My music collection is still 100% vinyl and cds, but I think I need to join this century sooner or later. I'd like to get an ipod, but I have questions. I have no input jacks in my car cd player, and I have no plans to run out and buy a new stereo in the near future. Do they make FM modulators for ipods similar to the ones for satellite radios? If so are they any good? And if so, can they be easily moved between cars?

I love my female wife...
we sit around and wonder exactly why our marriage should feel threatened by gay marriage

not sure if it's legal where you're from though.
it works fine as long as you can find a frequency clear enough.. and you can even use it at home on any regular radio..
and it plugs in the headphone so works with ANY MP3/CD player
