Who else lost a shitload of money in market collapse today

So depressing updating Quicken just now...not losing any of my savings, but my damn 401k is now 20% lower than my cost basis (not just from today, but was about even at beginning of 2008). Jesus.

At least I'm 32 and have years to make it up, but still.

I would kill for 20%. The people at Lehman were completely wiped out.

i'm glad i'm not delusional enough to think playing the stock market is somehow different from taking your money to vegas. the money in my checking and savings accounts is the same as it always was.

Ouch, don't remind me. I work at one of the companies in the news. It was a tense day, but I still have my job so far...

I didn't lose anything but i know people at that did.
