Blackberry Bold

So, despite living in the same city where RIM Blackberries are designed and made, I have resisted buying one for 10 years because I didn't think you got enough value for the pricetag. First it was text only on the half screen, then the full screen...they gradually built up features, etc. So with the release of the Blackberry Bold, I researched and it seemed to have everything I was looking for, so I bought one.

It's great. I love it. It's not "perfect" but it is as close to perfect as I need/want. Anyways, I never thought I would be one to gush about an electronic device but there it is.

Anyone else here a crackberry nut?

In my last job I had a blackberry pearl (they even let me choose the red one). I LOVED it as it was the cutest thing ever! :D The only problem was my crazy boss could now contact me at ANY time

I really liked it but texting took me awhile to get used to as it was different than texting on my phone.
  • I have the 8800. Love it.

I manage a hotel and it is 24 hours. It lets me spend time with my family and still do my job.

I think we are upgrading to the Bold in the new year

    It's so "multifunctionally" good...

    - built-in gps (although you better have a good data plan if you want to use this a lot)
    - phone
    - sms
    - email
    - Calendar (perfectly synched with my google calendar)
    - Email (kept in synch with my yahoo email)
    - Contacts (perfectly synced with yahoo)
    - IM always going (for yahoo and msn)
    - web browser
