Ed also mentioned briefly in Time

Figured I'd add to the Ed's Cubs song writeups that are showing up everywhere.

Ed appears in this week's Time "Pop Chart" news section - which is a scale measuring Shocking, Predictable, and Shockingly Predictable celeb news for the week.

Ed's news falls in between Shocking and Predictable. The writeup:

"Eddie Vedder writes song for Chicago Cubs, bringing trademark angst to angst-riddent team."

The pic of Ed is pretty awful. I believe he's throwing out the first pitch at a Cubs game, with a pained facial expression that one might have when struggling to take a massive dump.
