  • I dunno any apps that will rip that, but you could just record them to mp3 with Audacity.

    http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

It'd only record in real time, but perhaps worth the wait if you don't find anything else to rip.

So when you drop the cd in your computer, it doesnt just come up and ask you if you want to export the tracks to your itunes? What does it say?

My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-12

with a copy controlled CD you can import the songs to iTunes as you normally would, but if you try to listen to them, they are scrambled.

I think the only one I have is the foo fighters In Your Honor. It's a pain in the ass.

when in your honor came out someone on here gave me step by step instructions on how to do it. but i have no idea what they were. which is bad because in the years since then I don't have that CD in my itunes anymore and I can't put it back in.

I don't think many bands/record companies are doing it anymore because it must hurt business more than it helps.
  • The worst part is that I had all of the CD's in my library but due to HD issues had to reimport. An old version of Itunes would import the copy controlled discs with no issue...the latest version of itunes will not.

Thanks to everyone for the tips...

Thankfully no one seems to use this copy controlled nonsense anymore.
