  • Where have I been?? :o How did I miss this? Tell me more smarchee, my fellow King fan!! :) Should I be rushing out as well?

    I love the excitement of a new King book. Is it part of the Gunslinger series? If so I am woefully behind there :o

    Laughing at moi? :confused::o:p

    Oh goody !!! well yes I don't know how I missed this but I tend to blame it on this illiterate society I live in called Calgary. I am not sure I should get it tomorrow or wait until my holiday. Also, I am trying to utilize my public library which could also read as trying to save money. Not to mention back on PEI I have a gazillion books that I have NO idea what to with :confused: But I am not very good at saying no to temptation :o

    Enjoy!!! Let me know how it is!!

    I will be getting it as well. I think I have gotten every King book the day it came out since "Needful Things", when I was 14!

    I am in the middle of a really good book right now ("The Terror" by Dan Simmons), but that will be pushed to the side when I get "Duma Key".

    King also has a new short story collection coming out either later this year or next year and he also said he is working on a really long novel set in Maine!

    This is a fantastic website to keep up with King news: http://www.liljas-library.com.

    how're you liking it? I'm happy King has stopped writing about (of all things) cell phones. I think Duma King is a retun to his roots, very interesting, very unsettling. I liked this one a lot. Let me know when you're done with it and we'll geek out together :D

    His best book in years - since Bag of Bones easily. I didn't think I would like it when I read the summary on the jacket but I did. I was intrigued by the thought of Perse and the ship. And I really liked the character of Wireman.
