Old High School Friends

that you find out have completely fucked up lives after you loose contact with them.

I know this guy was going down the wrong path after high school, in trouble with the law, he was into drugs heavily towards the end of high school, even owed me some money for some "items", but this is fucked up.

I can't believe that his life went this bad, being charged with murder of his father ? Wow, just I don't know what to say, I can't believe it. I hung out with this guy at his parents house many times.

    i cant think of anything major that has happened to anybody..... just the typical marriages/kids, etc.

    my friend james got married to his girlfriend the day after we graduated last year and they are still happy together, pretty cool actually

    my best friend from pre school through third grade od on heroin in his 20's....left behind a wife and daughter....:(

    There are atleast 7 or 8 people(that I am aware of, I am sure there are more) from my class that have died since 1988. 3-4 of them have been self inflicted...Sucks.....:(

    Not a friend of mine, but a friend of a friend earned a baseball scholarship to college. One night though, he fucked it all up by killing a man in a fight. He took a brick and smashed the other guy's skull in. He was lucky though, because his parents bought him the best lawyers and probably bought the verdict (just got probation). That incident effectively ended his baseball career as he was kicked off his team and no other school would take a chance on him.

    yea i just did my 20th high school reunion and we've lost 3 people out of a class of 80.....one was one of my best friends....fuck cancer!! :mad:

    I went to a small school in a rich ski resort community and at least 7 or 8 of my classmates have commited suicide. Several others died in accidents, most of them drug and alcohol related.

    yeah I have too lost 3 other friends from high school, one I was really close with who was killed in a car accident. The other was from cancer :( and the third was from suicide.

    High school reunions are the best! I loved finding out that the guy who totally broke my heart got #1 FAT, #2, lost all his hair and #3 had a wife who cheated on him miserably prior to their bitter divorce that he is not yet completely over. He deserved it.

    There's a pretty big case in the Albany, NY area going on right now with a former classmate of mine who apparently killed 3 people while drinking/smoking and getting depressed about his life. Unreal.

    We've had some messed up stuff happen to my class throughout the years (drunk driving deaths, death in Iraq, jail terms, etc), but that one easily takes the cake for the most messed up. For a high school not in an inner-city, and with a mostly well off population, we've had our share of unfortunate incidents.
    Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
