I watched it last season and swore I wasn't gonig to watch it this season. Of course when it came on last night I turned to it and I'm hooked again. You knew that it would end that way last night. Just leaves you wanting more!

I am hooked, and in love with Scofield! Do you think Lincoln is going to die? Or does something happen and he gets a stay? I can't wait for next week!

Its good stuff. Implausable as all hell, but still good. I was watching last night and was feeling really anxious for the characters about how it was going to turn out. I went through possible things in reality that could make me feel like that and couldn't come up with one, so it must've been the show. Good feat pulling that off on people though.

If you watched the scenes for next week, you would have clearly seen that he did indeed get the axe. :)

Now it's time for that hottie Scofield to break the fuck out.

Never trust the coming attractions. Or maybe I'm just holding out false hope for a happy ending.

I doubt he got off.....but one never knows.

I just think it kind of defeats the whole purpose of the show to kill him off. I'm thinking that scene in the previews with Veronica at a grave could be her getting the court order to exhume the Vice-Presidents brother's body.
  • How does this show after a Season Two?

I'm guessing the dude doesn't die in the next episode, cause "fate" steps in and stops it. Maybe a power outage. Then it gives Michael another few weeks to figure a way out. But I'm just thinking, if they get out, whats is left of the show? Or if they don't get out, how long will people watch them continually TRY to get out?

I missed scenes from the next episode. If they ended it last night w/o finding out whether or not he dies as a cliffhanger, why would they show it in the previews for next week.

Okay, there is no way that Lincoln is dead, that would just ruin the whole show! Something will happen to postpone the execution. I have no idea what though, cause Michael failed, that lawyer girl failed, then the doctor lady failed too. So I don't know who is gonna save the day! But I'm sure something'll happen to stop it. Then they'll have to work out plan B (you know he didn't plan all this without having some sorta plan B!).

I also heard somewhere that this was done not as a series, but as a single season mini-series kinda thing. So there won't be another season or anything. I can't see how they could keep dragging this out through another season. But ya never know...

    Peace

See, I am reserving some hope for Lincoln. I wonder if the scene from the graveyard wasn't someone exhuming the VP's body and not Lincoln being buried....

Almost postive they were exhuming the VP's body and not burying Lincoln.

  • I did get the idea that Lincoln died from the previews but I guess you never know. I didnt watch last season because I missed the first few episodes and thought it was too late to pick up on it. I watched some reruns on FX and watched the new one and love it!

I actually think it would be a cool twist if Lincoln was killed off, cause most people would be waiting for the big happy ending. But I'm guessing he doesn't die next week anyways. Who knows.

It hasn't aired yet! If you've never been there before, I highly recommend visiting http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com for very funny recaps of some of the best shows on TV. They recap Prison Break and will have a short summary up sometime tomorrow after the episode airs, and a longer recap a few days after that.

Good tense ep, as always. Lincoln didn't get fried because the judge got some last minute evidence, left anonymously and ordered a 2 week stay of execution and granted Veronica's petition to exhume the body. But of course the body in question was given a green funeral, so the body decomposed very quickly and the only analysis left was dental records which happened to be a perfect match. But anyone who's seen the Whole Nine Yards, knows that can be faked!

Michael plans a new way out of there, through the psych ward, but that unfortunately means heading across an open field in the middle of the prison at night, in full view of three guard towers. He has Sucre steal a guard uniform from the laundry so he can scope it out, and on his way back, almost gets caught and ends up burning his back on a steam pipe while hiding from a guard. The burn fused the shirt to his back and Sucre had to rip it off. And of course, his tattoo got ruined in the process, and of course it was the part that pertained to their new escape route.

Next week, flash back episode as to how they all got in the joint in the first place!

The someone who left the evidence is supposedly Lincoln's dad who he hasn't seen for 30yrs.

Such a great show! Heard they wrote enough episodes for two seasons and they are still in season 1, just a long break in the middle of the season.

So much for going through the "Wack Shack"

Fox has given an early second-season renewal to the 20th Century Fox TV-produced suspense thriller Prison Break, which returned to strong ratings last week after a four-month hiatus, reports Variety.

The pickup follows earlier renewals for American Idol, Bones, The Simpsons, King of the Hill and Family Guy.

In its two Monday 8 p.m. airings, Prison Break has increased Fox's season-to-date ratings in the slot 57% among adults 18-49, averaging a 4.4/12. The series' performance is even more impressive among adults 18-34, improving Fox's numbers by 81%.

Paul Scheuring created Prison Break and executive produces along with Dawn Parouse, Marty Adelstein, Neal Moritz and Brett Ratner.
