Anyone see the Tom Petty Doc. "Running Down a Dream"?

Really, really good. Even if you are not a fan of the music, you will become one after watching it. Vedder makes an apperance also.

    The Jeagler did.....and he loved it! AWESOME DVD!!! Plus it was on hbo or starz or something right around when i saw him in concert back in june. watched it multiple times. good stuff.

    A friend gave it to me for my birthday last year. It is great....I watched the entire documentary straight through (little over 4 hours isn't it?) and never got bored. I think it would turn a so-so fan into a big fan, really well done
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

    Never saw it! I'm in the process of looking for The Last Waltz at the mo... saw it in Oslo and it blew everybody away... think we're all buying it now :D

    It's about The Band and their final concert. It has documentary footage in between performances, which include appearances by Joni Mitchell, Dr. John, Neil Diamond, Clapton, Neil Young and Bob Dylan, as well as Ronnie Hawkins who they started out with.
    It is the best concert/documentary ever....hands down. Runnin' Down a Dream is up there though

    It came out last year through BB as a 4 disc set. The one just released was a 6 disc set (so I've heard).

    I liked it too.

    I watched this last week. I especially liked the first disc with the early European TV appearances and how they began.

    They got in a car and drove out to LA and started knocking on doors!! :)

    watching this right now. i'm a little more than half way through, and i don't want to stop watching, but i really should be getting to sleep. i'm gonna have a 2-year-old waking me up in about 6 hours.
