I was looking forward to seeing Shamrock knock him out. O'well.

Kimbo is nothing special. Anyone who really watches MMA knows that. I liked his street fighting videos A LOT more :).

Damn...dude...it seriously looks like he is throwing the fight....WOW...

doesnt even look like the guy made clean contact before he jumped to the ground.

And the Kimbo hype is finally over. THANK GOD!!! That man was an embarrassment to MMA.

  • There is no way in hell that punch should have put Kimbo down....then the guy didn't even land a clean punch when he got on top of him, looked to me like he missed with everything he threw. I'm glad that wasn't a pay-per-view. I call shenanigans on that fight

hi Esther, now we are all going to be sick, thanks
  • the title of this thread should be "Elite XC Knocked OUT!!!", since the promotion's Golden Boy has finally, and deservedly, been shown as the amateur, over-hyped marketing ploy that he is.

The only shenanigan was Kimbo. The man was a farce and EliteXc took this unproven thug and turned him into a headliner. They lined up shitty fighters past their prime to help inflate the Kimbo myth. I have said since day one that any half way decent MMA fighter would be able to take Kimbo down. I was wrong because all it took was some no name UFC reject to do it.

  • I can't fault a company for promoting their show pony, even if he is as awful as kimbo. They're just trying to get mma into free tv. I'll still watch it even if it is inferior to UFC. Because I like seeing people whip other people's asses. Oh, and anybody can get knocked out. Especially people who post on Internet message boards all day long.
