    The writer must need his email box filled up with hate mail to show that people read him.

    I usually ignore such things, but this guy was trying to be so cool with his elite little list that he looks like an asshole if you ask me.

    Right off the top,these are missing:
    Pearl Jam
    SoundGarden
    AIC
    RHCP

    These bands have to be on that list.

    tom waits is great, but def. not deserving of # 1.

    what a fantastically pretentious list... sounds like my friend whose constantly saying "have you heard *insert obscure indie band*?" just to show off how open minded and in the know he is... maybe the guy just has a thing for rough, deep voices... lanegan and waits both in the top 5

    im glad lanegan made it tho... in general he NEVER gets the credit he deserves

    the guy is probably just pissed because the band he put at #3 was pelted by garbage from pearl jam fans.
    i've never heard of that happening.

    The dude that wrote the article is the type of person who does stuff just to inflame other people. Morphine should have been on that list, also. Hum deserves to be on that list instead of some of those douches.
