    What was the big deal anyway when you were complaining about gypsies? :o

    My sister was in Spain in July and got her camera stolen right off of her shoulder and they tried to snatch her purse :eek:

    they stole his daughters peanuts and placed a curse on his willy.. something like that
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    The thread sort of referred to gypsies as if they are some kind of underground movement of collaborative criminals, rather than an actual ethnic group made up of individuals.

    The point was, the thread might as well have been "blacks are all crack addicts and gangbangers".

    Which I'm sure was NOT what Acoustic Guy meant, it just didn't go down well :D

    i've never really figured out what gypsies are. from what i can gauge, they're something like the amish or quaker, only they move instead of settle their clan on a farm.

    I'm not sure if I've ever even seen a Gypsy. I mean, I've seen unicorns and a rabid platyus with flaming red eyes, but never a Gypsy. I'm not convinced they even exist.

    I think there's a distinct difference between "travellers" and Gypsies, which people tend to get confused. Proper gypsies are members of the Romani people.

    Exactly. Around here they own all the Palm Reading places on the boardwalks and if they see a ding or dent in your car they offer to fix it for cash. They will corner you at a Market and try to convince you until you punch them in the face. (Almost happened one day).
    They send their kids into stores to steal and when they get caught they try to pretend the kid is innocent.
    Fucking scumbags! Don't get me started with these people.
