    There are a few movies that I love way more then the average film, like The Godfather, The Graduate etc... but Almost Famous I think is my number one of all time. Bold statement but I think it might be so.

    i dont know about you sen but it marries my two primary loves of writing and music together in one place for my viewing pleasure. almost famous in a double feature with into the wild would be just brilliant. :D

    i FULLY agree with you! Anyone that knows me for real, knows how much this movie means to me. It is part of my daily habit!!! seriously. :D Theres so much good to that movie. We could talk forever about this!

    one of the scenes that just GETS me is in the beginning when they walk on stage, everyone takes their place.....bebe walks to the mic, nods, then picks up the mic stand in sync with the lights coming up and the crowd going WILD! it gives me chills EVERYTIME.

    because we all were gonna see it together, then 2 of our frenz went to see it on their first date. Pixxx and I were gonna go that weekend too but...we got distracted doing who knows what. And before you know it, time passed and its on dvd now! :eek: And everyone says its a great movie. However, its effected some people in ways that i do NOT care to be effected PERSONALLY.

    This is definitely my favourite film EVER... I made my boyfriend watch it last weekend, he'd never seen it and never really heard of it but he LOVED it! My favourite is the party 'in 11 years it will be 1984, think about THAT' :D that entire party scene is maybe the best scene in ANY film ever.

    The other day I watched the theatrical cut, directors commentary and director's cut back to back. 7 hours of Almost Famous! I have to admit, watching the commentary made me love this film even more.
