    hostel was just so so in my opinion. just too much walking around, getting drunk, and sex scenes (didn't mind those). THEN they just tried to cram all of the gory, torture stuff into the last 30 minutes.

    if the entire movie was like the last 30 minutes or so, then it would have been a hell of a lot better!

    but i am curious to check out the 2nd one.

    but IMO saw has hostel beat by a landslide. those are damn good movies, and made me squirm alot more than hostel.

    I liked Cabin Fever a lot more than Hostel, Cabin Fever atleast had some humor while Hostel was kinda boring.

    these scared the SHIT out of me. My boyfriend made me watch them. I literally held onto his arm during the opening credits of 28 weeks and did not let go...and I was supposed to go home that night but I stayed at his house cuz I didn't want to sleep alone!

    I have been to Europe a couple times in the past. I plan on going back someday. I have no interest in these movies. lol :D

    RIGHT after that movie came out my friend and his roommate went to Slovakia; they stayed in a hostel...he admitted he was a little scared! :p

    Fortunately, all that happened was that his roommate got challenged to a dance-off! :eek:
