  • RTFM!

One of the reasons I miss my old Archos mp3 player, simply drag and drop the folders you want, voila.

You need to download ITunes, import your songs into that, hook up your ipod, and then drag the songs from your Itunes library to your ipod.

do you have itunes? when you plug in the ipod, it should show up in your itunes. then you drag songs from your library to the ipod. it should update. then you need to eject the ipod by clicking the little arrow next to your ipod icon before you unplug it. i dont think the updates take if you just rip it out.
  • Again, the key is having ITUNES installed. Watch this video:

What you need to do is highlight the device on the left side menu and then in the I Pod screen you be able to switch to "manually manage music". From there you will be able to select what you want into your I pod.
