  • yeah I rely on ramen and cup noodles for making up the majority of my diet (I'm in college now). I've actually moved on to trying to create new recipes using ramen, usually while drunk and not with the best results, but I refuse to give up

I grew up on Ramen! :p
  • oh god...college.

I blame those for my freshman 15 (which was actually more like 25, and didn't happen til soph. year, but...still).

In my cooking class in high school, we actually made a dish with top ramen. My teacher said she was preparing us for college...lol.

We browned ground beef, then put the seasoning packet, water, the noddles broken up and half a bag of frozen veggies into the pan. Let it simmer while the noodles soak up the water and you're done! It was great. My mom actually makes it once in a while...lol.

on the drink or the ramen noodle making?

On both, and especially on the ramen-experimentation while drinking.

That actually does sound good, that might be my next attempt. I've had a bit of success with chicken-related dishes, and a couple disasters, the most notable involving scrambled eggs, sausage, and ramen casserole. Don't ask, and seriously DON'T TRY. For your own sake

  • i used to boil an egg in the ramen water.

that was about all i could muster in college. I really lived on skittles and coffee.
