For a while I would see all these fucking kids dressing like hip hop jackasses. Pants hanging down with their huggies hanging out. Made me sick.
But now I see many young kids digging Rock & Roll wearing old rock band t-shirts. I love it.
Long Live Rock & Roll!!!!!!

my brother went through this phase where he wore huge gold chains around his neck, and listend to rap. It was hilarious! He's like pasty pale, and has blonde hair. For his birthday that year he asked me for a big gold money sign for his chain.. I about died. I bought it for him. It was so awesome to see him look so utterly ridiculous.

He listens to good music now. Not PJ good, but hey, its better than 50 cent.

Yeah I don't think Guitar Hero has brought back anything either. The kids (at my school anyway) are no more fans of good music than they were before, they just put 5 or 6 songs on their iPod that they liked from the game, and that's it.

Granted, those 5 or 6 songs are better than nothing I suppose.
And before his first step... He's off again...

my niece is going through a 'punk' phase :) she's 12 and has pink highlights and a really cool side fringe in her hair. She wears all punky but girly clothes... like the layered short skirts (can't think of the name) and glittery eye shadow teamed up with some kinda tshirt with attitude :D but she knows fuck all about music... although about a year ago she made the leap from Britney, Rihanna, etc. to fall out boy and the likes. I'm sure she'll get there eventually :D
