Some people are freaking pigs!!!!!

I had a busy weekend at my store. It was a beautiful Saturday and there was a lot of people on the boardwalk. I always put out samples of different things for people to taste. So I put out a small cup of Nutty Bavarian Cinnamon Glazed Nuts.........these pigs take fucking handfulls! How rude! Ignorant people. So I made a sign that says "Its a sample, not a buffet!". Most of the normal people thought it was great and totally understood why I did it. It really worked well. People laughed at the sign then only tried one or two.
Sometimes you have to be blunt with people I guess.

haha yea sometimes you really do. and then you get those people that say you're being "rude," but it's those same people that take samples by the pound. can't win sometimes

I have to admit. When I was a kid trick-or-treating, if someone was dumb enough to leave an unattended bin of candy out on the porch, i'd empty the entire bucket of goodies into my bag. Okay, maybe I'd throw the licorice flavored Good and Plenty back as that shit is just plain disgusting...

That's what you get from the Philadelphian people! LOL! You are the guy from O.C. right? We chatted a year or so ago. I live just off shore.

Haha last Halloween me and my friends were handing out candy to the kids trick or treating and we decided to purposely leave the candy unattended in the bowl and went inside to watch what happened...

...and sure enough, right away a group of a few kids walked up, took one look at the candy and emptied all of it into their bags.

Last year on Halloween we went to the parade (it's a BIG Halloween thing here, no idea why) and we left two huge bowls of stuff out. One bowl with candy and another with other stuff for the little kids (baby cookies and crackers) and I even put some hot chocolate mixes in there too if someone didn't want candy.
Anyway when we came back the bowls were still there and still had some stuff in them.
I told the hubby that if we still lived in St Louis not only would someone have taken all the goodies, they would have taken the bowls too!
I love where we live now.
