Fuckheads said rain all day.
Well I see sunny skies, WTF?
My wife and I took off work and we did not go to Great Adventure today b/c of this report.
Mother Fuckers!!! Fuck you!

    You took the day off with your wife, had a nice day planned, and decided not to go because of what some weatherman said, rather than look out your window? And now you are on a message board rather than outside with her on your day off together, in the nice weather?

    not here in center city. looks like the apocalypse out there. the fountain was actually blowing onto the sidewalk it was so windy! (though it's not raining again yet....)

    You should have went. The best time I ever had at Great Adventure was with my best friend and our gfs in college and they predicted rain and it never did more than a few sprinkles and one shower. So many people stayed home that there were no lines on any of the roller coasters. I think I rode the original Batman 15 times in 25 minutes. We would just get off and walk back through the empty line and get back on the ride. It was just so much fun that day.

    Hey speaking of weather reports, who the hell dresses Jim Cantore from The Weather Channel??? And they need to dim the light over his head because it blinds me everytime he's on yapping about hurricanes, tornadoes, and blizzards!

    My little sister watches it all the time too. She actually asked me the other day if it was weird that she loves watching the weather channel.

    and if the weather report said sunny skies and you were then hit with thunderstorms...you'd be bitching about that. :p there's the thing - it's NOT an exact science eh? ;) it certainly DID look like it was going to rain, a FEW times today...very ominous skies at times. one of those things you can't depend on - the weather! :D


    sorry you missed your fun day! but i am sure you managed to at least enjoy having an extra day off together, no?
