OK...I don't know if this is funny or mean. Apparently they're OK with it. Has anyone seen this in person? It might be neat to see...once...but I'd probably go by on my SUP and gather them all up and paddle them to safety...

Gives new meaning to a drown rat

Is that for real?? Nasty little shore break there too
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

"I saw these two kids walk up with two rats and they were taking them for a swim."

Who takes rats to the beach so they can swim?? VERY strange! I couldn't imagine having a rat as a pet.. let alone taking it out of the house like a dog.
Whoa, chill bro... you know you can't raise your voice like that when the lion's here.
  • I had a pet rat called Bub for years... he was ace. Loved watching TV on your lap and annoying the cats.

Bub used to like water and a dip in the bath every now and again, but surfing?!

I think it's a tad cruel. No so much as a sport for the rats but more 'get onto the floaty thing to survive' :(
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    Bub?
He wasn't a zombie rat, was he?

At least we know they're in warm water (Hawaii)... and it's way better than that dumb water-skiing squirrell...

Makes me wish I'd done something like this with all the gerbils I had as a kid.

But now, my surfboard stays upstairs with me, and not in the basement with the rats - I might find it heading down to the beach one day...WTF?

:D lol No, but he was named after the legendary Bub in Day of the Dead... but you'd already guessed that ;)
