Big Beach Clean-Up (international)

OK...so I'm supposed to be doing this today, but I've changed it to tomorrow because the tide will be lower...but I checked my webpage on the Vancouver Aquarium website...and I'm the only one signed up for stream/beach cleaning for my designated location...

I have a box of t-shirts and everything...oh well, hubby and I shall do it ourselves from the paddle board and kayak...not a big deal. I'm just a little disappointed that our local gov't Parks Department isn't involved in this, esp. when there's a municipal park in the area I'm cleaning...

Such is life. Hubby and I will do what we can and know that at least WE are making a difference...And next year we'll just have to make a bigger fuss with the local government....

Anyone in the Pit involved in this international event?
