Married for 16 years!!

Holy crap! Where the heck did that time go? July 31, 1992 was the hottest day of the year in Vancouver...and we went to LA & San Fran for the H'moon. On the drive to San Fran, we were sitting in traffic listening to some radio station and their "Electric Lawnchair" (it was actually "Electric Lunch Hour", but the guy had a strong Aussie accent) and the #1 song was "Jeremy"...I said to my new hubby, "Hey honey...that can be "our" song!" Live and learn. I think the song had just been released...but I do remember singing along to it...Ten had been out for awhile at that point...

Of course, I have many many other memories over the last 16 years, but that's the only one you all MIGHT be interested in...

Anyway, congrats to anyone else who is having an anniversary tomorrow! Hail! Hail! The lucky ones!

    Congrats . . . just had our fifteenth in June. You're absolutely right though . . . where does the time go. Btw how did your run/walk for the SPCA go? I hope that you raised lots.

    Thanks!! The SPCA thing hasn't happened yet...Aug 19th...and I'm so far from my goal...oh well. I'm very thankful to the folks who did donate! Every little bit helps! And congrats on your 15th! Wow! We need to be very proud of ourselves!

    I understand very well the feeling about where does the time go. I was married July 29, 1978. And at least you heard "Jeremy" on your honeymoon. The stupid song my husband and I kept hearing was the Village People's "Macho Man"! :eek: :eek:

    mr. dream and i just celebrated 16 years of marriage a little over a month ago - june 20th. it is GREAT, isn't it? made the trip for the DC show our anniversary celebration, great times!
