Camden, Hartford and/or Mansfield???

Ok so i'm having serious trouble deciding what to buy...

I'm going to the 2 MSG definitely. Now, a second Camden show would be better for me to attend....but do I risk it and wait? Or do I buy Camden 1 today?

Next...I can't really make Mansfield on a Monday....esp if I go to Camden on a Thurs. I could potentially go on a Sunday, but do we think there'll be a second Mansfield show? If so, it would be Sunday over Tuesday, right??

And then, since those are all up in the air as to second nights, do I buy Hartford???

Any help would be very much appreciated as my head is spinning!

AAAHHHH, I'm so lucky to have this be the toughest decision I make today :)

Get tickets for all of them. You don't want to regret not buying them in the future. You only live once, so see PJ as many times as possible. That's what I plan to do. :)

i'm doing hartford so i'd say camden or mansfield makes the most sense for you.

All of the above. There is only 3 hours or so between Camden and Mansfield.

    if you fly maybe...haha.
not sure where exactly mansfield is, but philly and boston are @5-6 hours apart with no traffic.

I'd say more like 5-6 hours between the two. Philly is a five + hour drive from me in Mass.

  • Camden II is a definite, the only risk you'll take is fighting TM for tix, as it doesn't seem there will be a 10c presale.

that's what i'm thinking as i've seen it up on a few other websites...

thanks for all your input - i think im going with all of the above, except maybe hartford. (but who knows, i might get ticket happy after all this and buy them anyway!)

mansfield is 4 hrs from me in nyc...camden is 2...hartford 2.5. distance isn't such a big deal except for going to boston on a work day...not sure how i can pull that off. looks like i might have to be sick on june 30th!

camden and mansfield are a week apart anyway, so the distance between the two doesn't really matter.

haha, seriously...the drive from nyc to boston is pretty bad and can take up to 5.5hrs...but when i lived in philly and made that drive fairly often, it was definitely looooooong. and there's ALWAYS traffic ;)

I know. I was thinking of the hours I've spent flipping through my cds while stuck in traffic in NY, CT, RI, and MA. Getting up to Mansfield during the day on Monday shouldn't be a problem...if it's before 4pm. You have to go through Providence to get to Mansfield, and that can be hairy.

  • this will be the first tour i only go to one show. I absolutly cant believe all these shows are on weeknights. I hope they add a second hartford show that saturday or boston or anywhere in the tri-state area for that matter on a saturday. 1 show with a mediocre fan club number is just sad.

That's if you take 95. As someone who drives to Boston 5-6 times a year, I never 95 once I get to New Haven. Then I take 91 to 84 to the Mass Pike. That's how I got to the Tweeter both times in 03 and never hit traffic except on 95 in NYC.

As a diehard Red Sox fan, I'm welcome in all of New England so I'm not worried. ;)

But yeah, when I drive North I avoid 95 like the plague. The alternate highways are emptier and have a 65 mph speed limit as opposed to the ever changing speed limit in Rhode Island and the traffic jam state aka CT.

I used to drive to the Tweeter in Mass. Personally I cant stand the place...it always seems to rain when I go there.

If you feel like taking the scenic route, 84>384>6(all the way through RI) i think you catch 95 just north of Prov. it takes a while, but less traffic and it avoids all the major cities on the highway.

DO IT! esp if there's an added Sunday Boston show, your extra days on this trip will be totally worth it!

So, it should be doable with no problem then.

By turnpike, do you mean toll road?

It can be done quicker if you know where the state cops hide out. :)

I plan on going to both Hartford and Mansfield. It would be totally worth it to do both.

Yes, the Pike is a toll road.
