    I'm down, down, down. I've been fighting a cold/infection for 6 weeks. Even a run of Z-Pak didn't help.

    More Dr. on Thursday morning.

My kids make me happy....... and eating, but the effects of eating only make me more unhappy.

    vicious cycle.

I've never been to a doctor but I wouldn't be surprised to have s.a.d, the winter and no sun gets me soooo down sometimes. Last year i didn't feel like myself until May/June and I hope that doesn't happen again this winter. Vitamin D or E or something is supposed to help so i'm trying that.

I'm headed for a relapse myself - seeing a psychiatrist sometime this week. I have anhedonia and want to spend all day in bed...blah...I don't want to have to change my meds....

  • exercise and spending as much time in sunlight helps me a lot. I've thought about investing in a light therapy box, but haven't gotten one yet

i've been kinda down lately myself, but i presume its because the goddamn weather is changing from nice to complete crap! that happens sometimes with me- my mood reacts to the weather. i really dislike the cold, but its kinda inevitable here in NY.
  • yeah as soon as it starts snowing i just want to go into hibernation and stay in bed all day. blah.

i have to blast really intense music to motivate myself to do anything.
i hate the concept of tanning but last winter it really boosted my mood so i might have to try that again.

I always have a tough time as soon as fall arrives and the days get shorter. I try to spend as much time as I can outside, even if it's only a little bit each day, and try to get some exercise every day.

I've been mostly depressed for months. :(

Exercise used to help but not so much any more.

how anyone hates the winter I'll never understand

Ice Fishing alone is reason enough to love winter
I just don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.
