HeadCount Welcomes New Friends: Pearl Jam, John Mayer, My Morning Jacket And More
Expanding our musical horizons considerably in the name of reaching the greatest possible number of new voters, HeadCount has added an all-star group of musicians including Pearl Jam, John Mayer, My Morning Jacket, Ani DiFranco, Megadeth and Colin Meloy of the Decemberists to our list of affiliated artists.
We will stage a voter registration campaign at every Pearl Jam concert on their U.S. tour in June, and be at every John Mayer performance in the month of July. We already can be found at Ani DiFranco, Colin Meloy and Megadeth shows.
HeadCount set out several months ago to diversify it's artist base by adding major acts and earlier this year we teamed up with Foo Fighters, Wilco, Santana, Maroon 5 and Jack Johnson . HeadCount is one of a handful of featured non-profits on Jack Johnson's "All At Once" campaign, which ties his tour and music to socially-conscious activity.
