    Wow. 3-6 months isn't long enough?? In my relationship it was said really early. We'd been dating not even a month and he was saying it. I was cool with it. after months and months, are you ever going to say it?

    that's a pretty good estimate. takes 3-6 months to go through some odd times to figure out if it's ok to verbalize.

    I tried watching that show...just couldn't get into it. The characters weren't interesting to me.

    my friend has been making a huge deal of this lately...I don't get why it's such a big deal. to me saying "I love you" is saying "I care about you." If you are with someone and are very close, what is the big deal of saying this?

    I agree with this... I've had close friends who I'd tell I love them often. In this relationship it was said quite early.

    There is no set time for these things... it's not like you can say multiply the time you're with him by 2... divide this by the percentage of your feelings for him vs how much you really want the remote control... and that will give you your answer. If you love him and if you think it might be mutual you shouldn't have to bite your tongue. I had to bite my tongue in my last relationship but that was only cos I knew he wouldn't say it back and he'd go running... so yeh, I was kinda keeping myself in denial.

    Whenever it feels good and right....is probably the best time. I dont think there is ever an exact moment in a relationship when it should be said. It should definetely be felt from ones head to their toes before its said.
