It's true, it's happened today.
What is this, the Nazi party forum, or Pearl Jam? Come on mods....have a heart, have a sense of humour.

    It's a standard rule for every forum on the internet. If the rule didn't exist a lot of threads would descend into chaos with a ton of people yabberin back and forth about anything all the time. I've worked on a forum before and they can be very difficult to manage. It's tough to strike a balance between keeping the fun within the community, and keeping order. I for one think the mods here do a stellar job, and are FAR FAR more leniant than a lot of others out there. Obviously they can't please everyone, and occasionally their decisions may seem heavy handed or over the top, but they are never made without good reason.
    And always remember, it's their site, their rules. They can do whatever the hell they want with it. I seem to remember them taking away the AET before because it descended into shit. The internet isn't a democracy, and it's for the best.

    Great post! If I ever get banned, it'll be for chatting but I'll take it like a man ;) and accept it.
    Some of the nicest, sweetest people on this board complain about it a lot and I can never understand. You can't just wander into work and do whatever the hell you feel like so why should it be any different here? The mods have got a job to do and like Hitch Hiker said, they do let a lot of things slip. It even says (not a chat room) at the top of the page. That being said, I'll still carry on chatting to people for as long as I can. :p

    Anyway, if I say anymore, I'll just be repeating what he above me said. ^^^

    I got ban for a couple days for reposting a thread that was deleted. It was a spoiler for the last Harry Potter book and I sent the mods a email and I told them the F off, then the next time I tried to log on it from a 2 day ban to being ban for life. I didnt care at first, I waited a couple days and begged the mods to let me come back. Im not bragging, what I did was wrong. Think before you speak.

    Well I had a perfectly good thread erased because someone had to say idiotic comments. It would've been nice if the offenders comments were erased but I guess I'm not one of the cool kids here.
    These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.
