I do. :D
Buying/selling, it's fandabbidozi !!!!
Just scooped 2 Cardiff City football shirts, and brand new Nike trainers for the princely sum of £29.96, including p&p.

I still hate that they won't stop the ticket touts/scalpers on there though

But overall, come on...it's a blast !!!

Let us know your best and worst purchases, recommend something....

That classic Adidas stuff is big business on ebay, I missed out on a hot pair of Adidas classic trainers just today, I'm still sad.

  • I haven't been able to find a good deal on ebay for a really really long time. usually when I look for something on ebay, it's more than the retail price!

I once got a good price on a computer monitor and on a copy of microsoft office, but that was several years ago.

eBay is great for finding CD's and DVD's that are out of print or that Amazon doesn't really carry (or take a while to order).

Got a nice deal on Camper Van Beethoven's box set, and Pulp's Deluxe Edition of Different Class.

Plus, I sell stuff on eBay from time to time, and the money goes to my Paypal account, so it doesn't really feel like I'm paying for them! :)

Funny that this thread goes up the day before the ebay boycott begins. Sellers are starting a week long boycott today because of recent changes in the feedback system. Basically ebay has taken away the ability of the seller to leave negative feedback for buyer. Very interesting.

That's because the system was flawed. You have a bad experience as a buyer, leave negative feedback...and the seller does the same to you. It's a tough one, most people are cool, willing to work things through if there's a problem, now and again you get a tosser who wants to cause trouble.

  • I have a lousy ebay score because of bad sellers. They deserved their negative feedback, but I did nothing wrong.
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.

Exactly, that's why they're changing it. It was just tit for tat. Hopefully it will be a better system now for feedback.

ebay on a whole is worse with these changes. they just completely screwed over the sellers. there is a selling boycott from the 18-25, i suggest everyone take part in it.

what? ya so the customer is right to send out bad checks? they raised fees too, you know? technically the seller is a customer to ebay too.

Of course not, no one would argue against those things. But I maintain the feedback system was flawed.

That's your opinion, which differs from anyone that I know who sells on there. To each his/her own I suppose.

Fair enough, but I am a seller, and I can see the fault with it, it was just as I say..'tit for tat'. But, there ya go...
