I absolutely hate it! I was a raging bitch at work today. Then I was sad. Then I was mean again. Then I was insecure. Then I was crazy. Then I hurt the pregnant girl's feelings. She was so excited because she had made herself a decaf iced cafe americano and I said "oooh, that looks good... oh but I don't drink brown water..." and I made a stuck-up face. I was only joking, but it hurt her feelings. I told her she's allowed to have caffeine while she's pregnant. Then I felt even more PMS-y.
I really screwed that up. I really Schruted it.

    I hate it too! I used to never get the symptoms until a few months ago. Not sure what changed. I don't just get Pms but actually during too. This is too much info for the guys. :p In addition to feeling down and irratable, I feel physically crappy too. I am starting new pills though this week, and they are supposed to minimize the crap!

    Yeah, today I felt so psycho, that I thought, "this can't be pms, it has to be something else" and I actually took a pregnancy test! :eek:

    Oh honey, it gets worse the older you get too. I am now taking the Pill and not taking the placebos because mine got so bad. Pretty much no PMS here anymore. I was bitchy, miserable, wanted to kill people and physically exhausted. And this was PMS and DMS as you said you have. They put you on Yaz by any chance?

    Finally got that "One for the Thumb"!!! Got the "Six Pack". Now we're on a "Stairway to Seven"

    Yeah, I have been on the pill since I was 15 because I used to get such long, heavy periods that I had to take iron pills. And I felt weak all the time. So this pill has worked great but then like I said, the past few months have been bad. Yes, it is Yaz. The doctor and nurse said it will help eliminate symptons. And my pharmacist takes it and she raved about it. I hope it helps. :o

    Yes, it does get worse. And it sucks! I can see now why women have used PMS as an excuse for comitting murder.

    I am on my first month of it and so far so good. Alot more expensive than my last one but if it alleviates the PMS then it's worth it. The only thing I miss are the cravings I would get for sweets or whatever. At least I had a reason before. What excuse can I use now? :rolleyes:

    I get PMS terribly. I'm a complete bitch, then I cry, paranoia sets in, then i'm lovely... all in the space of about 5 mins. My GP even has notes on my file that once a month I'm unbearable and depressive :o

    I understand completely... and sympathise :o
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    i have to take iron tablets too at times i get so low - but i cant take the pill because i have this stupid overactive thyroid desease to boot, and the meds for that combined with the pill stuff my whole cycle up and im stuck with a non stop one - im off to a gyno next month to try an iud - apparently they are meant to slow heavy periods too

    I used to suffer badly....and so did everyone else :o
    Since I came off the bcp it all resolved itself...that stuff fucks up your hormones, at least it did mine.
    I'm not saying I never have a bad day, but never be afraid to apologise and people will usually understand :)
