I have a 50" Sony SXRD and it is awesome. I'm jealous of you though because that is a fine-ass TV!!

If you haven't done it yet, get yourself a Blu-ray player! You will be blown away!

My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-12

What makes the Elite (151 or 141) so amazing is the color accuracy, motion handling, video processor (upscaling standard definition TV), and the ability to tweak the picture until it is spot on. But what sets the Kuro (Pioneer 9th generation plasmas) apart from all other HDTV is its ability to produce amazing black levels. You are probably asking, what makes black levels so important? Simple, black level is what gives you the immense depth in your picture. In dark scenes, you'll see all the details in picture. It just give the picture that much more realism. But seeing is believing. Take a trip to your local Best Buy Magnolia and see for yourself.

And you don't have to get an Elite to enjoy a Pioneer set. Take a look at the 5020 (50" set) and the 6020 (60" set). Those are also beautiful looking TVs. They are also part of the Pioneer Kuro line, and will give you the deep black levels the Elites offer, but at a more affordable price.

Pioneers are plasmas, so if you'd like, you can also take a look at the new Samsung LCDs. Beautiful looking sets, and are very affordable. I recommend the Samsung LN52A650 (52”) if you like for your TV to swivel, or the LN52A750 (52”) if you like the more square frame look (no swivel). You can also take a look at the LN52A850 (Red bezel) or LN52A860 (Blue bezel). The 850/860 series is like the 750, just thinner. They all offer the same picture quality and performance, so it is just a question of what style you like. You can also take a look at the new Samsung LN55A950 (55” Samsung’s top of the line LCD), but I think it is a little over priced and has some issues with viewing angles.

So if you like plasma, I recommend the new Pioneer Kuros (smallest size though is 50”). If you want to go LCD, I recommend the new Samsung sets which come in quite a few sizes.

i have no idea what a Pioneer 60" Elite is, but i hope its a vibrator of some kind...
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
