I don't really see why people can't just adhere to speed limits. Do I need to post the "It's 30 for a reason advert again"? :p

Oh I don't speed on resident streets or any other street at that...I don't want to run over any animals.....:)

but on the highway I do!! RARELY do I see any animals on the highway!

In fact, the Autobahn in Germany has no speed limit in many parts, and its death rate is lower than it is in the US. The difference is the driving culture and strictly enforced rules, such as you are not allowed in the left lane UNLESS you are going well over 120 MPH. You can get a ticket for going too slow. Germany also makes it harder to get a license and trains its drivers better. Also, the cultural difference, in Germany driving is an activity itself to be enjoyed, so you focus on your driving. It is not like in the US where people treat their cars like mobile living rooms and do everything but focus on driving. There is a great Simpsons espisode about this topic.

I have a radar detector and it too has saved me many times in the past.
I don't use it for every day driving (I live close to work) but if I'm hitting the highway for a trip, or if the drive is multiple hours...you better believe I'm having Ol' Chirpy with me! :D

Suer it does, just as you get to like a racer they get killed....kinda futile if everyone keeps dying because of speed all the time... Oh wait speed doesn't kill apparently...

I always drive about 7-8 mph over the speed limit and have never been pulled over for that. I think you're fine up to 10 mph

It's hard to drive much faster than that considering the usual rolling roadblocks of people in the left lane driving the exact same speed as the car in the right...which is usually going about 10MPH under the speed limit.
The only people we should try to get even with...
    ...are those who've helped us.

I got pulled over today.......but it wasn't for speeding it was for not wearing my seat belt which is pretty shitty considering my belly hurts...:(

He gave me a warning, but for some reason I was shaking....I was afraid because I thought that I would get a ticket....
