Well, I've decided not to take my pain medication tonight

and I already had two shots of JD! I'm getting really tired of not doing anything. I walk a lot, but I can't do much more. I can't drive yet or vaccumn, pick up anything heavy, jog, but I sure can DRINK!!!! :)

    :confused: you've stopped the pain meds? to drink? to me, that's peanut butter and chocolate....peas and carrots.....a vicodin and a vodka tonic is a wonderful combo...;) :p:D:D

    Don't worry, I already took my pain meds and I had some more to drink!!

    depends on how long you've been taking pain meds. if it's been over a week you really shouldn't need them for pain anyway.

    though no matter how long you've been taking them it's never good to mix pain meds and booze

    I know...

    I think starting tomorrow, I will just take Advil for my soreness because I'm not in pain anymore...just sore as hell!!

    Tomorrow will be three weeks since my Surgery! I feel good, I really do and the scar is so tiny that once I start to tan it will fade a bit!! I still can't do the things I want....it makes me a bit irritated!! :(

    well i never said it was good for anyone...at least not physically...mentally, it's a wonderful feeling...;) :p

    yeah it def sounds like it's time to switch. besides once you're off the pain meds you'll have alot more energy....though still try not to do too much too fast

    People have lost their livers that way. Mixing acetaminophen and liquor is like double-dosing subtances that are very damaging to the liver.

    At least do a cold water extraction to separate the tylenol and the hydrocodone.

    good for you...pain killers suck...

    when I had my rotor cuff surgery 2+ years ago, they sent me home with a bunch of percocet...they didn't really take the pain away, they just made me forget about it for a couple of hours...

    when I stopped taking them, I was an angry mess...

    I can understand how easily one can become addicted to them...

    on a side note: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory + pain killers = Great Movie...

    I have a really bad headache, but I'm waiting for my mom and dad to come get me so we can go eat some chinese food!! I might have some more to drink this evening....it was a nice change!! :)
