Until tonight. And now I am drunk. Anybody else in the same boat, or am I captain steubing by myself up in this mother?!?

    are u serious? well, what made u decide to end the 9 year freeze? im just the opposite; i NEVER used to drink. Then i met some awesome pearl jam frenz from here. :D

    Are you sure this (getting lit after 9 years) is what you wanna be doing? I'm not waving the flag by any means; if you wanna get lit, then get lit. But, if you didn't drink for nine years, that tells me that drinking is something you don't think you should be doing.

    i stopped because i didn't like how it made me feel. not because i was an alcoholic. but i knew someday i would drink again. today is that day. thank you for your concern. im sure i will feel differently in the morning. but for now i feel pretty good. i am singing the words as i type them.

    it was time to end the freeze. and i have no regrets. pearl jam friends are the best!!! no doubt about it!!!

    congrats will work. didn't mean to confuse. all is good in the hood. i am safe and sound at home. so i will not endanger anyone. and i will watch poker and try and figure out how it is considered a sport.

    i figured it was time too. i mean, i hadd ZERO problems always hangin out at bars and clubs and ordering a pepsi EXXXTRA ice while everyone got hammerred. my first drink was in celebration of finally flying to another state to see the boys. then thru the years hangin out with PJ freaks....it was like ehh what the hay i'll have a drink here and there. And NOW.....BRING ON THE JACK!!!! :D whatever you do...just DONT drink and drive. :(

    no never drink and drive!!! I am at home next to the bed. so all is good. whenever im at the bar i have a diet coke with lemon or lime if im feeling saucy. my car is 60 miles away. anyone who gets behind the wheel after a drink should be shot. or at least forced to watch maury povich on a clockwork orange kind of loop.

    hope i didn't jinx your streak, i was *just* telling mr. dream about you, how you don't drink even while out socializing. mostly, b/c i used to be like that. i applaud anyone who can hang out, no issues, with others drinking, remain sober, and still have a damn good time. i did it mostly to be designated driver. probably why i love the NYC meet-ups...no driving ever necessary. :D

    Sober. Not sure if that is better or not. Went and saw Will Ferrell and Zack Galifinakis perform which made the night better than it would have been!

    weirdly enough i havent been sober for 9 years... :):)

    you type good for a drunk man... normally i wake up the next day and have to buy a new backspace key...
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.
