good luck!
I'm crazy, but I always loved finals, both in college and grad school. not the actual taking of the tests, but the studying, writing papers, etc.
FUCKKKKKKK
thanks, and wait what?? you LIKED finals? did you like them because you didn't have class or did you ACTUALLY enjoy studying and frying your brain???

haha I liked studying and frying my brain. sort of. it was like a rush of energy for me. I loved the atmosphere around campus, just everyone in overdrive...but also in a way it was relaxing, I love academic buildings, libraries, etc. I love being in them. when I was in college I loved first semester finals- it was always snowing outside the pretty windows and there were always fires going in the lounges and cookies laid out...
the way I saw it, you have nothing really else to do besides do this work. it was great. last year around this time I had literally been in the reading room at my school non-stop for like 8 weeks maybe longer between my masters thesis and extra classes. I had like a permanent mark on my butt from the chair. it's like you get momentum. I remember I spent like a week working out 2 assignments for renewable resource econ. one of them was optional to improve your grade. I was kicking myself for doing it because I had so many other assignments to boot. everyone else pretty much gave up on both of them after a few days. I just wouldn't give up on stuff like that- wouldn't go to bed until I got the answer. I ended up getting the highest scores. then I had to write a paper for the same class. when the prof heard how much work I had he actually told me not to worry too much about the paper. that I could not get myself to do- got a great score on that too. and then when you do well, that's the best feeling. you don't get that payoff at work-work. there's no challenge, and no reward. Have fun in school while you can.
I loved college, but that's the one week of each semester that I'll never miss...
oh I definitely love the reward and good feeling of dominating a test or paper. and well, you sort of HAVE to do good, it's your career in a way. there's also a sense of pride that goes into the work, I think you know what I mean. and having a higher GPA in college than in high school feels pretty good too

Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.
you'll find no argument from me there. especially in a high school where you take 7 classes a day and only 2 of them are electives.

Just wait...
