Ok I'm starting this now. Bad timing, whatever, don't care. I need to get this out. The 'Boys NEED to address their defensive backs EVEN MORE now that Eli has emerged like this. Before I was really thinking about the running backs and receivers, but a true cover DB is looking very important now. So either through FA, trades, or the draft, something needs to be done.

Asante Samuel is a FA. Cowboys should really take him into consideration, even if he will be pricey.

And, kinda burns to say this, but congrats to the Giants. The victory doesn't surprise me at all, but still a hell of an accomplishment.

  • You are 100% correct. That shit they're putting on the field right now will not get them to the NFC Championship game, even if Romo is clicking on offense. Eli exposed them. Roy Williams is a liability, he can't cover and he can't tackle. Jerry needs to dish out the dough to keep Ken Hamlin and get someone else in here. I know they're talking about drafting a receiver and another running back, but the secondary should be the top priority. They got 2 1st rounders, between those and Jerry's wallet we should be able to get the pieces we need to be a better team. TOs still got a couple more solid years. Glenn is done, I don't trust Crayton.

I posted these in the 2007 Cowboys thread. LMAO.

I was really mad at the Cowboys after that loss, but hey, the Giants proved they were the better team at that time, obviously. Dallas would not have beaten New England yesterday. They just don't get that kind of pressure.

They definitely need another DB. Hopefully they pick up a wideout in the draft.

I have to say though as a 'Boys fan in Boston I'm almost giddy the Pats lost. I never thought I'd be so happy for a win by the G-Men. And shocked Eli got it done.

Definitely think they should get a DB and WR with the first two picks in the draft and re-sign Flozell.

I'm excited for next year although I think it will definitely be a tougher season just looking at their opponents.

And the main reason I'm excited about it, I just booked a trip for the final home game in Texas Stadium!!! Can't wait for that....just hope it isn't against Philly.

I sure hope they don't trade up for McFadden. seems like way too high a price to pay to get him

    go cowboys!

(and I'll throw in a nod for cory, even though he's serving a life sentence...he'd be on this thread.)

    win one for the corrance!
I love to turn you on

They also need to get younger and faster at wide receiver. If Jones turns his life around he's a steal and goes a long way toward fixing the DB problem and should solve th PR problem, Willliams is nothing more than a high paid back up, ever since they banned the horse collar he hasn't been the same.

    GO BOYS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No to mention that Romo has to prove he's the man down the stretch, even if nothing else seems to be clicking he has to find ways to win, especially if he wants to be considered elite, all the elite players fiind ways to make things happen when it counts, this is the year he has to make things happen in December and January.

Attica schmaticca, we'll take the whole prison yard.

yea right, hopefully Pacman can think with his head (the one on his shoulders) and Jerry Jones doesn't make STUPID moves today.

and good luck to you, you #@$%@*! Eagles fan.
