Mason kept them in that game, faced 50+ fn shots.
Despite the questionable goal that the BJ's scored, they still had the lead in the closing minutes. You have to close out that game. Idk what this lay back style of defense is by Hakstol when the other team pulls its goalie, but it doesnt work,
As soon as the OT was over you knew they were gonna lose. So many lost points in the shootouts because they are unbelievable bad at it, still after all these years.
Still have a game in hand on Detroit, while holding the tie breaker for the last playoff spot.

brutal loss point last night. it just can't happen at this stage. 2 goals in a minute. they are embarrassingly bad in shootouts. At some point your best players have to step up in shootouts. enough Gagner and Couts (2-13 in career) taking them. the worst part about the shootouts is the players take the puck way deeper then they ever would on a true breakaway. shoot the fucking puck.

Big win there.
Ghost Bear continues to impress. Great play on the OT winner and a hell of a play late in the 3rd that hit the crossbar.
It's up for grabs between those three teams. Its Mason or bust for the Flyers.

Being a Hershey Bears season ticket holder (Caps AHL team), I'd like nothing more than to take them out tomorrow and then eliminate them in 6 come April.

The Caps are really good.
They got rid of that shitbag of a coach they had and now have a shot at this.
They have a few ex-Kings to spice things up and show them how to win, including everyone's resident from Dry Island, Mike Richards.
The Caps have Ovechkin.
The Caps have an amazing G.

BTW< I hope you guys beat them down and wipe them out in the playoffs as well.
