    Florida can be solid

    Barkov, Huberdeau, Bolland, Jokinen, Campbell, just got Willie Mitchell... Ekblad, Gubranson for a bridge, Brad Boyes can be decent when producing.
    Luongo and Ellis/Montoya in net
    A bit of sandpaper who are also useful with Upshall and Shawn Thornton

    They wont be a bottom feeder IMO (Ottawa and Buffalo, possibly Toronto will be at the bottom of the Atlantic). Florida may be in a position to be duking it out with the likes of Detroit, Philly, NYI, NJ, Columbus for a wild card spot.

    I hear that Wayne is playing tonight. thats good news. i just want to see how the d plays.

    I still think we are looking at a wild card for the play offs but for some reason I have faith that Hextall will be great in Philly as GM.

    Mason played really well yesterday. i found the second period was pretty good. they got the forecheck going strong. another game tonight against the devils.

    No doubt bro, I lived in west Chester pa for almost 2 years and love philly, especially when that "certain" band or that "certain" team comes to town. ;)

    back to back games where they let the game come to them before they responded --- need to shake it up some.

    I do love Philly for the sports, and living here is much better than LA from that standpoint. (Although I hate not being able to go to USC games at the Colly and Kings games at Staples.)
    One thing you can never say about fans in Philly is they have any apathy.
    Can they get carried away? Yes.
    Is it anti-family environment? Yes. (I have seen some horrid shit in stands here at all 4 major sports events. I thought LA was bad but it is not even in the same conversation in general.)
    Is it fun? Yes. Hell yes, especially if they are not playing one of my favorite teams so that I can root with the home team.
    Do the fans care? Ohhhhh yes, yes they certainly do.
    Are the venues easy to get in/out of? Yes.
    Are the tickets crazy expensive? No, not next to NY.
    Can I enjoy talking sports at every party, event, line at a store, etc? Yep, the fans here love their sports and know their sports.

    The Flyers need a better captain, imo. How can it be that your captain says he was tentative and scared to get er going
