Have you seen this team? Ever hear of Shea Weber & Ryan Suter?

I think he meant to get to the cup in the east not win it.
which I agree, but I do think that we can beat Boston but would have a hard time against the rangers0 -

Oh my bad - "going to the cup" - got it. Yeah, that's a possibility. I think we beat Devils or Panthers in 5 if that's how it works out.Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25

Yeah, it's not quite the choice of words I would use. Maybe they'll be favorites going in, but we all know how much that mean.Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25

i would agree they would become the favorites in the east if the rangers and bruins were to lose.
i think one of those two will get thru..81 is now off the air0 -

yes I mean cruise through the East. None of the other teams in the east are real scary other than bruins or rangers. florida has some talent but i think flyers smoke ottawa and/or washington.
and Johnny i really like that Nashville team. Rinne is a stud in goal. I think Nashville is getting through the west.0 -

Yeah they are really good. My pick for the Cup going into the playoffs.Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25

Let's remember, the Flyers always seem to struggle against the Sens. I would much rather face Florida, but even they aren't a team you look past. And so you see, I have come to doubt

I'd rank the matchups in this preference:
1- Devils (we know them and we know we can beat them)
2- Panthers (aside from the haunting of that 1996 series, they really aren't scary)
3- Capitals (they will probably blow the Bruins series, because they're the Caps and blow series is what they do)
4- Senators (they seem to be matching up well with the Rags, but I think the Rangers' lack of scoring punch is making them look better than they are)
5- Bruins (they are just really tough and know how to win - I hope this matchup gets delayed to the 3rd round, its rightful place)
6- Rangers (they can't score, except against the Flyers, against whom they win every game 5-2)
So we need a Bruins & Senators win, then we'll just take whoever comes out of NJ/Fla. Sound good?Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25

I pretty much agree with Johnny's order.
Good start for the Sens :thumbup:0 -
