    Finally!
what the hell is going on with this? fired or not?   I agree it's time for a change but the coach is only a small problem with this team.  the veterans aren't good enough. the young players are playing like shit and the goaltending is an utter embarrassment for an NHL team.
to be fair, the team is better than what they have shown.  they have talent but no system.  also, i just heard that hart has been called up
their talent is well below the top teams in the East.  Good to see Hart coming up but the D needs to be a lot better in front of him.

thought this was kind of entertaining although no way Gritty would like refs.  And got a little thing for katie nolan so...enjoy.

Lehtera officially charged as part of that cocaine ring fiasco that blew up at the start of the season.

Gritty has poor grammar (he is from Delco) and I did laugh out loud at some of that.

while Hart was not challenged alot yesterday, he did look comfortable on the ice.  I still don't know if he stays up when the regulars come back but i do see him being on the team next year

I read a funny quote from bob Mackenzie who said that considering the flyers trouble with finding a goalie, they might want Hart to change his name to Vezina so that the pressure doesn't get to him.

Fast and furious ending to the game last night, that was fun.  I thought Simmonds should have skated over and checked someone in front of the Dead Things' bench.  (I have lots of stored up hate toward the Red Wings Dead Things from the 90s)

Depends if they go out an acquire another goalie. They cannot rely on Neuvirth or Elliot for any length of time. Both are fragile, especially Neuvirth.
He'll prob get sent back down but wont be the least bit surprised to see him back up before seasons end.
Will be interesting if he gets the start tomorrow night vs Nashville.

Hart playing against Nashville tonight.  I think this is test if he stays up this year.  Not saying he has to win but want to see how he deals with a great team.

His super hot wife likes it.  (Although Carts has short hair, so perhaps better not to introduce her.)

is it true Neuvirth gets hurt every day getting out of bed?  sure seems like it.  good news we picked up another retread goalie. goalie #7.  last in the league.  hey but G has a lot of assists...

Worst Flyers team I've seen in 30 plus years watching. There have been less skilled teams but they at least worked hard and entertained. This group is rotten. I dislike 95% of the players on this team.
They have 4 SOG thru two periods tonight vs St. Louis.

not sure about the worst but it's def. up there. Didn't like about 10 years ago they finished dead last in the NHL?

The 2006-2007 Flyers, yeah its close.  Bob Clarke resigned that year and many vets were traded. This team prob has more supposed talent on the roster, but they dont play hard at all. Lazy. Theyve lost 7 straight on the way to another probable 10 game losing streak. Every year it happens. Its incredible.
Flyers lost out on Patrick Kane that June and got to draft JVR, who is back with the team again.
The season is half over and their year is already done. Right now they have the worst record in the league. They wont make the playoffs.
The 2007 team finished with 56 points. Thru 42 games, this team has 36 points.

talent wise I think this team is much better but have no heart.  the question is what do you do?  imo, there are 4 players that you don't touch on this team.  G, Hart, Ghost and Provotov.  I understand that many would say trade G but for me, his contract makes it almost that you will not get anything back for him and plus he is still far and away the best player on the team.

It will be interesting to see what trades are done soon.  the Oilers are looking at Simmonds cause they need wingers but what other trades would yu want to see?

My untouchables from this team: Giroux(unless a ridiculous offer came forth that could properly reset/rebuild this team), Hart, Provorov, Sanheim and Konecny.
    Everyone else is available.
