and i don't know how scientifically true it is or not...but i've read numerous times that the earlier you begin menstruation, the longer it lasts in your lifetime. it signals you have a higher # of eggs, thus more cycles. granted, there are pros and cons to menstruation for your overal health - particularly your sexdrive - but damn, who wants all that from 3 to 63?! yikes! poor girl!
